NEW RANGES, SHARING AND CLOSINGS:  There will be less range closings because 10 new pistol bays were built behind the existing pistol bays.  These new pistol bays are for use only during USPSA, IDPA, and other organization’s scheduled events.  While the new bays will not be available to members, they will allow members to continue to shoot in the regular bays even during scheduled events.  Some special events may still require that ranges, such as the 200 M, be shared rather than closed.  Check the calendar for ranges that are closed, or shared.

SKSC SKEET & TRAP WINTER STORM POLICY:  It is the policy of SKSC that trap and skeet not open when there is a severe winter storm warning in effect at 5:30 PM and after on Tuesday or Thursday, or at 8AM and after on Sunday mornings.  This only applies to trap and skeet.  Other ranges will remain open but roads may not be plowed making you responsible for all towing costs.  This policy will also apply if there has been a blizzard up to 24 hours before opening time.  In general, if schools are closed or the roads unplowed, we are closed for trap and skeet.

CPL CLASSES AT SKSC: Concealed Pistol Classes are held at SKSC.  The instructor is Terry Thompson.  Cost will be $75 for members and $125 for non-members.  There is a $25 non-refundable deposit.  Planned dates are: Jan 9th, Feb 6th, Mar 6, Apr 3, May 1 and Jun 5.  Contact Terry at 616-891-4118, 616-293-8245, or via email at ccwtraining@AOL.com.
