CMP Rifle Matches

We offer high-power rifle matches on the first Sunday of each month.

2007 Schedule: April 1, May 6, June 3, no match in July, August 5 and September 2

High-power rifle matches start at 10:00 AM.

Entry Fee: $10.00

Here is what you need for the high-power matches:

Any as-issued miltary rifle with iron sights may be used.

Either bolt-action or semi-auto.

Any country of origin.

Surplus or hand-load ammo may be used, no tracers.

30-06 and .223 ammo is available for sale.

Ear and eye protection MUST be worn!

Optional equipment:

Shooting jacket

Ground mat

Spotting scope

Course of fire:

5 "sighters" from any position

10 slow fire standing @ 100 yds.

10 rapid fire sitting/kneeling @100 yds.

10 rapid fire prone @ 100 yds.

10 slow fire prone @ 200 yds.
